Pacific Northwest District Sales Manager

Position Summary

 

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated District Sales Manager who will be responsible for stimulating sales and managing the overall business activities within the Pacific Northwest Territory (Oregon, Washington and Alaska) of Korg USA.  Candidate should be goal oriented, proficient in prospecting and expertise in closing the sale and managing the account. He/She should have a strong passion for growth and will to succeed with strong knowledge relating to the music products industry.

 

Responsibilities

The District Sales Manager will be required to work and plan with dealers in the Pacific Northwest Territory to continuously expand market penetration of Korg USA’s brands.

 

·        Analyze sales statistics and implement strategies to expand Korg USA brands market share and secure new business

·        Develop and execute innovative sales strategies through prospecting & account acquisition

·        Achieve territory monthly sales goal

·        Travel regularly to visit accounts to assess inventory needs and capture revenue

·        Tracking of account progress towards goals and rebate opportunities

·        Merchandising and maintaining product displays and point-of-purchase materials

·        Responsible for training dealer personnel; arranging Product Specialist visits

·        Becoming fluent in the operation and demonstration of Korg USA product lines

·        Coordinate product training and special events

·        Utilizing sales tools with accounts to maintain healthy status

·        Build advocacy with musical instrument retailers at all levels of their operation

 

Requirements

 

·        Minimum of five years’ experience in the music industry in sales management

·        Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business Management or Marketing or commensurate experience

·        Proven ability to succeed in a competitive sales environment

·        Familiarity with CRM platforms

·        Proficiency in MS office applications
