SUMMARY:

International Operations Coordinator (Bass Brands) is responsible for coordinating customer orders from order collection through production, shipment, and final invoicing. This role ensures accurate order entry, clear communication with production teams, and timely updates to customers regarding order confirmations and expected delivery dates.

The position works closely with production, logistics, and customer-facing teams to ensure orders are built within standard lead times and shipped efficiently. The role also manages export documentation, shipment coordination, and customer portal updates.

This position supports Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) visibility, operational improvements, and cross-functional coordination across the supply chain. The role may also participate in operational projects and evolving company priorities as required.

This role supports KORG USA’s Bass Brands: Aguilar, Darkglass, and Spector.


Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Order Collection & Entry

  • Collect monthly customer orders across all channels.
  • Enter and maintain sales orders in internal systems.
  • Ensure order accuracy including quantities, SKUs, requested delivery dates, and shipping terms.
  • Maintain organized records of incoming orders and order revisions.

Production Coordination

  • Consolidate customer orders and communicate aggregated production quantities to manufacturing teams.
  • Monitor production progress and ensure estimated ship dates (ETAs) remain accurate.
  • Identify potential delays or constraints early and coordinate mitigation with relevant teams.

Customer Communication

  • Send Monthly Operations Update to each customer.
  • Provide order confirmations and ETAs to customers.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers regarding order status and shipment updates.
  • Ensure customers are informed promptly of any changes, delays, or adjustments.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to orders, shipments, and documentation.

System & Portal Management

  • Maintain accurate order and shipment information within internal systems.
  • Ensure customer portals are updated with order status, shipping details, and relevant documentation.
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity across ERP and customer-facing systems.

Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate outbound shipments with internal teams and external logistics providers.
  • Arrange shipments from factories to customers under EXW or DAP shipping terms.
  • Ensure shipments are executed according to agreed delivery timelines.
  • Support coordination between warehouses, factories, and freight partners.

Export & Documentation

  • Prepare and manage export documentation for international shipments.
  • Coordinate commercial invoices and shipping documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation standards.

Invoicing

  • Coordinate final invoicing once shipments are dispatched.
  • Ensure invoices accurately match shipment details and customer order requirements.
  • Monitor customer prepayments and credit line to support timely and accurate payment collection.

Operational Support & Ad-Hoc Projects

  • Assist with operational initiatives that improve order workflows, supply chain coordination, and data accuracy.
  • Participate in operational improvement projects, system implementations, or process updates.
  • Support cross-functional teams on ad-hoc operational projects and evolving company priorities.
  • Provide backup coverage and operational redundancy for S&OP / Order Coordination Specialists supporting other territories, ensuring continuity of customer communication, order management, and shipment coordination during absences, workload surges, or operational transitions.

Requirements and Qualifications:

SUMMARY:

Spector Musical Instruments is looking to add a member to their Custom Shop team just outside Woodstock, NY. This position would be responsible for the assembly, carving, sanding, and fretboard preparations of our flagship, built-to-order, basses, as well as the sanding, buffing, and touch ups within the finishing department. This position requires high attention to detail, strong work ethic, a desire to achieve the highest quality of workmanship. This is a full time position, 5 days a week, on site in Shokan, NY, working as a part of a small, dedicated team of builders carrying on the legacy of the Spector name and quality.


Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

 

  • Carving and sanding of basses post-CNC, refining the shape from machine routed lines to our renowned contoured/radiused shape, both neck and body
  • Fretboard preparation, including: leveling of fretboards to ensure the highest level of playability; installation of inlays and frets; fret leveling and fretboard beveling to increase playing comfort
  • Inner coat sanding
  • Use of buffing wheel to achieve mirror high-gloss finish
  • Application of various wood stains to instruments in preparation for finishing
  • Instrument assembly: gluing of the body wings to the carved and prepared necks to be CNC’d
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management

  • Woodworking experience preferred

The Guitar Brands Category Manager is the strategic leader responsible for the overall brand strategy, commercial success, and supplier relationships for Korg Tuners & Guitar Products, VOX, and Blackstar within the North American market. This role serves as the key link between Korg USA and the parent companies (Korg Inc., VOX Global Team, and Blackstar), collaborating closely with manufacturing partners to ensure optimal representation and support of products in the domestic market.
 
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies to drive growth, market share, and profitability.
Collaborate with the North American and Latin American Team to align global sales and brand strategy.
Serve as the primary liaison with manufacturing/brand partners, fostering strong, collaborative relationships and ensuring mutual objectives are met.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to design and implement go-to-market strategies, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
Continuously monitor market trends, identify opportunities and threats, and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making.
Establish and track KPIs for sales initiatives, using data to refine strategies and optimize results.
Oversee the full lifecycle of products, from launch to end-of-life, ensuring smooth transitions and maximizing value.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Bachelor's Degree in Music Business, Business, Marketing or related field.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and market trends to inform decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and other relevant software applications
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Knowledge of musical instruments and audio equipment preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to commute to Melville, NY three times per week, and as needed.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
