Pacific Northwest District Sales Manager

Position Summary

 

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated District Sales Manager who will be responsible for stimulating sales and managing the overall business activities within the Pacific Northwest Territory (Oregon, Washington and Alaska) of Korg USA.  Candidate should be goal oriented, proficient in prospecting and expertise in closing the sale and managing the account. He/She should have a strong passion for growth and will to succeed with strong knowledge relating to the music products industry.

 

Responsibilities

The District Sales Manager will be required to work and plan with dealers in the Pacific Northwest Territory to continuously expand market penetration of Korg USA’s brands.

 

·        Analyze sales statistics and implement strategies to expand Korg USA brands market share and secure new business

·        Develop and execute innovative sales strategies through prospecting & account acquisition

·        Achieve territory monthly sales goal

·        Travel regularly to visit accounts to assess inventory needs and capture revenue

·        Tracking of account progress towards goals and rebate opportunities

·        Merchandising and maintaining product displays and point-of-purchase materials

·        Responsible for training dealer personnel; arranging Product Specialist visits

·        Becoming fluent in the operation and demonstration of Korg USA product lines

·        Coordinate product training and special events

·        Utilizing sales tools with accounts to maintain healthy status

·        Build advocacy with musical instrument retailers at all levels of their operation

 

Requirements

 

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong leadership and organizational qualities

·        Minimum of five years’ experience in the music industry in sales management

·        Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business Management or Marketing or commensurate experience

·        Proven ability to succeed in a competitive sales environment

·        Familiarity with CRM platforms

·        Proficiency in MS office applications

Korg USA is hiring!   Sales Manager-Digital Piano Division.

KorgUSA is seeking a highly motivated, experienced and proven successful Sales Manager for our Digital home piano division.   

The Sales Manager, Digital Home Pianos will be responsible for leading Korg USAs effort to increase our piano sales.  This position is responsible for the collaborative creation of a Home Piano sales plan, including unit and dollar goals, product mix goals, dealer network creation, and support, training and relationship maintenance.  The Sales manager will focus 100% of their time working to increase District Sales Manager’s success with piano sales, dealer support, company focus and more all targeting increased sales of Korg pianos.

The sales manager will travel as needed to support and bring on new dealers, gather competitive info, train District Sales Manager’s and become expert in market conditions, opportunities, challenges and more.  This is a leadership, self-motivating, take action position that requires focus, planning, follow-up and follow-thru.

The Digital Piano Sales Manager roles and responsibilities includes:

·        Collaborative creation of a specific plan to increase unit and dollar sales of Korg pianos.

·        Analysis of current programs, pricing and sales materials and plan to improve.

·        Analysis of current dealer network sales levels and overall support and creation of plan to improve and expand the dealer network, sales and sell through for Korg Digital Pianos.

·        Partnering with DSMs, inside sales, brand manager to create product and sales training programs designed to increase our sales effectiveness.

·        Creation of monthly sales promos, analysis of performance and next step recommendations.

·        Collaborate with marketing where needed to create retail materials, events, POP, market campaigns targeted to increasing dealer success with pianos

·        Analysis of competition and market challenges and creation of plans to overcome obstacles and increase sales, retails share, market share.

·        The piano sales manager will possess excellent relationship building, presentation and speaking skills.  Basic piano playing skills preferred. Ability to effectively demonstrate Korg line of pianos at retail, conventions, meetings and events to gain interest, increase support and increase sales is ideal.

·        Compensation is salary plus sales goal incentives.  Full benefits. Compensation levels will align with experience and other factors.

·        Frequent but reasonable travel likely required.  Flexible. All reasonable business/travel expenses paid.

·        Position is based in NY office, can make exception for highly qualified persons.
